These songs were recorded in the winter of 2016 as part of a soundtrack for Robert Banks' upcoming film "Paper Shadows". The tracks were envisioned in Tangier, Morocco with my good friend, producer, engineer and drummer Henri Rapp of Bad Racket Studios. We were aiming to focus on sound and tonality of the instruments rather than relying solely on songwriting or virtuoso techniques. The idea was to use feedback, delay and reverb to simulate orchestral sounds and make a dark soundscape for Robert's film. All of the music you hear on this album was recorded at Bad Racket using live instruments.
